Almost famous

The other day as I was walking to the capitol building a reporter with the City Pulse stopped me to ask a couple questions. Since I enjoy seeing my name in print, I decided to oblige him. Here is the link:

I actually think the picture turned out quite well. And of course, of the 10 responses, mine is the most well thought out.

It really is amazing how uninformed the general population is. However, they do have wonderful imaginations.

My favorite quotes are split between Spike and Ryan.

Spike believes that it is "just a personal vendetta by Bush, who is the greatest coward and deserter this country has ever seen."

However, Ryan believes that "we went for the wrong reasons. The American people were lied to. There may have been some need for us to be there but it's more personal than national. Bush is cleaning up his dad's work."

Very compelling. I just can't choose one.

Thanks for being on the sidewalk that day, Fetz.

Now I am going outside to stick my head in the sand. Then I can pretend like all of this has no effect on me whatsoever, all the while blaming Bush for everything bad that has happened to me in the last few years. Besides, Barb, Luke, Ryan, Nancy, Spike, Malikh, and Damon need some company.

Given how conservative Lansing feels at times, I'm surprised by all the people who said yes and their reasons. Maybe they actually talked to people in Ann Arbor...
